TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the detail that matters. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
